I am very excited for Easter to roll around on Sunday. My family usually has a very big meal on Easter. I can hardly wait. Who doesn't like tons of delicious food cooked by your family?
My grandma usually cooks a tasty ham for Easter. Along with the ham, we usually have devilled eggs, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, rolls, pie, fruit salad, and a few other various forms of food that I can't quite remember at the moment. (That probably has to do with the fact that it's too early in the morning for me, even if it is almost ten o'clock.)
My favorite part of the meal are the devilled eggs and the sweet potatoes. I could eat both of these foods everyday for the rest of my life and not get tired of eating them. I know people say that, but I'm really serious.
We usually eat around lunch time, and then eat the leftovers at dinner time. It's quite the plan, I think. I really enjoy all the food that my grandmother makes, and I like getting to spend time with my family.
I hope all of you have a good Easter, and that you enjoy it.

  1. I, too, am so excited for this upcoming sunday! I wanted to mention that I love your photo for this entry. Not only does it obviously match your theme and entry, but its colors look so great with your background and they're just appealing to me in general, I guess! Have a great Easter!

  2. I definitely agree with you. I love eating a lot of food cooked by my family on Easter. We always have a ham too, and I absolutely love it. I also like sweet potatoes and devilled eggs. Believe it or not I wouldn't try sweet potatoes for the longest time;however, once I tried them, I loved them. Reading this blog made me even more excited for Easter. I can't wait to see my family and eat a lot of good food. Have a great Easter!
